Yeah it started like a ready made blurb when you heard that song playing on the radio.
You couldn’t turn the channel it brought you right back to 1978.
Well that melody left you dyspeptic like a green on red stop sign.
You remember that time she said you weren’t wholly inept.
You shut your eyes and screamed about her, witless half travesties.
She was thin and gratuitous in all the wrong places.
Yeah! Settle down Francis, you don’t have to listen anymore.
Settle down Francis, you should have turned around and walked out the door.
Seeing her was like a stumbo metal pastiche of a David Bowie flick.
She left you with her bad taste in your mouth.
You can’t believe she was so trite. You could’ve done her all night.
But you know, she was just a pointless dead end.
You went along for the ride but it, turned into a joke.
A naughty outlaw on a plastic pony.
So settle down Francis, you don’t have to listen anymore.
Settle down Francis, should have turned around and walked out the door.
Gratuitous howls and moans.....
Settle down Francis, you don’t have to listen anymore.
Settle down Francis, should have turned around and walked out the door.
So settle down Francis, No No No don’t write no more.
Settle down Francis, should have turned around and walked out the door.
